Dom Ruins

  • This is a fairly extensive area to explore. The bottom map is where you'll start, then travel to the gap, then to the second floor. The map cannot accurately describe the ruins, so you'll need to use your imagination to flesh out the details.
  • The letters match up with each gap and the switches on f and g activate the two sections that bridge the gap.
  • Note also that some of the areas shown on the map overlap each other instead of connecting but it makes sense once you actually walk around.
  • If you don't see any of the marked items, they are probably in hidden rooms as there are quite a few hidden rooms in the ruins. For instance, items 4 & 5 in the top section of the map are in a hidden room that can be reached by pressing the switch in the room to the south-west of it and then exploring the north wall in the second room to find the first hidden room which leads to a second hidden room containing the treasure. (Sounds complicated, not really when you play it <g>)

North Innermost chamber of the ruins
  • You will have to fight the level boss Ganymede in the corridor just before the innermost chamber of the ruins. He's a two part monster with an HP of 1500. I kept on hitting the head (and not the scaly back) while keeping an eye out for his attacks. He's usually getting ready to attack when he starts sucking in.
  • The sucking in draws all members closer to Ganymede so it is probably best to use the defend option at that point.
